Well, Self care is a treat, and not another thing to do, but it is an important to do. 😜

Let's move beyond the superficial self-care trends, and start treating self-care as the revolutionary act of self-preservation that it truly is. The world will be better for it.

SELF LOVE True self-care requires us to look inward, and examine our beliefs and behaviors with radical honesty. We must put rest, nourishment, and renewal at the top of our to do list. This is an amazing ongoing process of growth and self-discovery, not just a quick fix or indulgent escape. (But hey we need that too!)

Maybe simply saying no to optional commitments that drain your energy. For others, it could involve seeking professional help for anxiety or depression., Finding healthier ways to cope with stress and difficult emotions is a game changer to a better mindset.

So real self-care is about building sustainable habits and routines that become deeply woven into the fabric of our daily lives, and we grow into our best self!

This could look like committing to a regular meditation or journaling practice, prioritizing restorative activities like spending time in nature, or simply getting enough sleep each night. I personally struggle with rejecting the notion that burnout is the price we must pay for success. I do believe our wellbeing is the faster way to achieving goals.

Remember the basic human needs to rest, play, and experience joy. It's an invitation to slow down, look inward, and rediscover what matters most.
