In your quest to be a healthier person, you’ve probably done endless research about what you should and shouldn’t put into your body. All Natural soap is as just good as eating healthy is All of the products you use on a daily basis will have an impact on your health and on the world around you. In fact, switching to organic soaps can offer a wealth of benefits.

Here are 10 Reasons why you should switch:

1. Fewer Potential Irritants

Mass-produced soap companies focus on cost. Cutting costs often leads to using added chemicals and artificial ingredients. These ingredients can harsh for your skin. Chemicals can strip away hydration or break out with inflammation and irritation.

The fewer ingredients soap contains, the less likely that is to happen. All natural soaps are simple, and that keeps you healthy.

2. Essential Oils Have Many Benefits

Mainstream soaps often use synthetic chemicals to produce their fragrances. Organic soaps, use natural essential oils.

Essential oils lessen your chance for skin irritation, while providing many other advantages. For example  peppermint oil may  help with digestion and tension headaches. Lavender oil can help with stress relief. Coconut oil has been found to kill pathogens! By opting for organic soaps, you’re giving your body a health boost while getting clean.

3. Environmental Advantages

Switching to organic soap and other organic products is one of the best steps you can take in living an eco-friendly life.

Organic materials have been grown without any pesticides or other harmful chemicals. These chemicals can damage or kill important parts of our ecosystem.

Organic soaps are biodegradable because they are made with natural ingredients.  Switching to organic soap is one of the simplest transitions you can make. It rewards you every day with healthier skin and a happier planet.

4. Glycerin

Glycerin is a natural skin softener. It attracts water from the air around it. Because of this, it is used in products to help maintain moisture in the skin. During the soap-making process, the oils/fats and lye blend together to form soap.

In most manufactured soaps, the processing removes most of the glycerin. This process leaves behind by-products which dries out our skin. A consumer now needs to buy another product to moisturize. This increases the profit of commercial companies selling soap in regular stores. There is zero lye left over in crafted soap made my experts.

5. Cruelty-Free:

Organic soaps are cruelty-free. They do not use animal fat and are not tested on animals. This also means companies cannot source ingredients from suppliers that test on animals. They also Cannot hire a third party lab to conduct animal tests. Many organic soaps use botanical extracts and herbs making it is an ideal choice for vegans. They do not use animal fats. Oils like coconut and palm oil are used as a base oil. Adding in flowers (rose, lavender), plants (tea tree, basil) spices (cinnamon, clove) or fruits (grapefruit, orange) are a delightful way to enhance soap.

6. Better Healing Properties:

Natural ingredients add healing to many skin conditions.

There are tons of ingredients to aid in wellness. Organic soaps use essential oils, aloe, coconut oil, turmeric, honey, herbs to name a few. These well known extracts can help with controlling acne, soothing eczema, and treating sunburns to name a few.

7. Maintain pH level:

A soap's perfect pH level ranges from 9 to 10. Commercial detergent based soaps have synthetic surfactants. This allows soap to dry and package quickly, extend shelf life and increase lather.

Thus making organic soaps more gentler on the skin. Ingredients such as coconut oil provides moisture and maintains the ph level.

8. Natural Preservatives:

Cold process soap making never needs presesrvatives. They have a pH level that doesn't allow mold or bacteria growth.

So many companies end up adding more harsh chemicals which can harm our health over time.

9. Zero Sulfates/SLS

The main use for SLS n products is to create lather. The more lather the better the impression of cleaning power. Some products contain over 50% sulfates!

10. Non-GMO/ No Genetically Modified Organisms

We do not use any ingredients containing genetically modified organisms. Some common soap making ingredients, such as soybean oil and canola oil, often contain GMOs.

KISS- Keep it Simple Silly - A great all natural soap bar contains plant-derived oils. No lye remains at the end of the process, but lots of glycerin is. Great soaps do not contain ingredients such as sulfates, parabens, irritating foaming agents, phthalates, formaldehydes, oxybenzone, ethoxylated ingredients, polysorbates, phenoxyethanol, petrochemicals, triclosan, TEA/DEA, synthetic fragrances and colors.

Our soaps are so good for you. You will feel fresh, clean and healthy!
