Here are three easy self-care tips to use every single day.

2. GRATITUDE JOURNAL

Write your way into more joy, optimism, and happiness. You do not have to write for hours, to benefit from journaling. A daily grateful journal teaches your brain to not have room for the negative mind suckers. You focus on the positive and become more mindful.

Bedside Journal How to:

1. Wake up

2. Smile

3. Grab your pen

4. Write down 3 things you are grateful for

5. Go get your coffee!

A simple notebook will do. If you want a lil more something, we love this journal if you want to commit to writing 5 minutes or more everyday.

3. BREATHE 4-7-8

Take a few deep breaths. Self-care starts by taking a mindful breath: inhale then exhale.

Try the 4-7-8 breathing technique, also known as “relaxing breath".

-Breath in for 4 seconds

-Hold the breath for 7 seconds

-Exhale for 8 seconds

You can meditate and just focus on counting your breaths.

We are fans of Abraham Hicks, here is an excerpt from her: “There are two things that we were encourage you to do, in terms of action. Sit every day for 15 minutes with the intention of filling your body full of air. Breathe, breathe, breathe, breathe, breathe, breathe, breathe, breathe. Breathe. Just breathe. That’s your assignment, 15 minutes of breathing, 15 minutes of in and out, in and out, and appreciation for this delicious oxygen…if you would just do that your chaotic world would smooth right out.”

Can you join us in drinking water, writing down 3 things to be grateful for, and taking a few deep breathes everyday?
